Please make sure you have read, and fully understand these terms of service before making an account and using Kuepets.org and any associated content/services/pages.

Terms and Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (further also referred to as 'the rules', 'these rules') are an agreement between the site providing these rules (further also referred to as 'the site', 'Kuepets', 'we', 'us', 'our') and any person using the services of the site (further also referred to as 'user', 'you', 'others', 'yourself'). These rules stated apply to all areas of the site, unless it is specifically stated otherwise by our administration. By accessing our site and/or making an account, you have indicated that you have read these rules, and agree to obey them when you are using any part of Kuepets. If you are under the age of 13, please make sure that a parent or guardian has read these rules, and has accepted them before you access Kuepets. Failure to obey any of the rules may result in an account reprimand, removal/deletion of your account or the banning of your IP for further site access. Furthermore, in relation to account reprimands, the site administration may apply any disciplinary action they deem necessary towards any account without any warning or explanation. Upon accessing the site, the user agrees that they will hold the site, site owner and staff free of any kind of claims including that of a personal and/or legal nature. We reserve the right to add/edit/change these rules without warning, therefore it is considered your responsibility to familiarize yourself with these rules, and regularly check for any changes/updates.

While there may be specific rules for shout box or forums ALL rules apply to ALL AREAS of the site unless stated otherwise by our Administration.

Please, Respect Our Community. Please keep in mind that the Kuepets Community is made up by people of all ages, and cultural backgrounds. For that reason, we monitor Kuepets to protect our users, and filter out any material that is hateful, harmful, or offensive.

Opinions or comments made about other users, the site, and other topics that are libelous, insulting, hurtful, or are considered harassment: Kuepets is a family friendly site and topics like sex, politics and religion can spawn debate and lead to unsavory feelings between users. We avoid this by disallowing topics like this and any others that cause dissent in other members to be discussed on Kuepets.

Breaking this rule will result in an immediate ONE WEEK SUSPENSION. Further infractions may result in additional suspensions or a permanent ban from Kuepets.

Number of Accounts
The user is allowed to create and use ONE account per person at a time. If you are found with more than one account for your own personal use, all except one account may be deleted, and in most cases the one you are left with WILL NOT be your main account. Do not think you will receive your main account back, even if it has the premium upgrade! Any users that log in from your IP, friends/family etc, MUST be listed on your profile or they will be treated as a multiple account.

Members caught breaking this rule will receive a ONE WEEK SUSPENSION. A second infraction of this rule WILL result in a permanent ban from Kuepets.

Account Rules
Accounts may not be named in an inappropriate and/or offensive way. This includes innuendo of any nature. Any account found to be breaking this rule will be deleted. NO EXCEPTIONS! An account may not be transferred to another user at any time for any given reason. This includes, but is not limited to, voluntary transfer, hacking or any other ways to transfer an account. The trading and/or selling of an account are prohibited, be it for virtual points, items and/or real money/currency. If a person is caught selling, and/or trading an account, it will be deleted completely, and the person/buyer in question will receive a consequence. If you decide to leave Kuepets for any reason, you may not give away your account to another person.

Pet Rules
Inappropriately named pets or pets that have names of an offensive nature in any way, shape or form WILL either be deleted or have their name changed at staffs discretion. Any pet that is sent to the adoption centre can then be adopted by anyone who chooses to do so. Once you have put a pet up for adoption, it ceases to be yours, even if this was done in an accidental manner. Once the pet is adopted by a player, they may assume complete ownership.

Pets are not to be bought, sold or traded in any way, shape or form.

Site Provided Content
All items and features of Kuepets remain sole ownership of the site. By using the service of the site, the user does not acquire any kind of legal ownership over the pets, points or any similar features provided. This means the user may NOT sell pets, points, site items or any features for real money or currency of any other site or any other form of reward.
Kuepets content may be used freely on kuepets.org. If you wish to use Kuepets content on another website then you must include a copyright notice, and get permission from an Admin or Moderator Manager to do so. This includes, and is not limited to help sites and any other forms of web based information. The user may use everything on his/her account at their will, with exceptions as stated in these rules. That means that no other user may claim ownership on another users pets, points, items or site provided content.

User Provided Content
Any user content that is to be used on Kuepets shall be of a PG nature, be in good taste, and not be untactful or offensive to anyone in any shape or form. Remember even though you may consider it appropriate, it may not be for children and/or other users. The general forum rules stated below apply to any content provided by the user. This includes, but is not limited to, account names, pet names, content of a users personal blog, forum signatures, shout-box posts etc, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the rules for that respective area.

Any content submitted that is accepted to Kuepets becomes its€™ property immediately. If you choose to give your own artwork to somebody else on Kuepets, the person in receipt of this work may use it at their will under their local laws.

Please limit your member name to no more than 14 characters

Forum rules
Listed below are the forum rules, which are to be followed, and ARE NOT open to any interpretation by any user, at any time. Staff can and will remove anything that they deem inappropriate for the site, and reserve the right to do so. No exceptions. Failure to follow the Forum rules will result in an account reprimand from staff.
* No user may spam a board in any way. This includes and is not limited to: One or two word posts and the singular/multiple posting of just Smilies.
* Before making a post, check other forum posts, so you do not make a duplicate statement/question/suggestion that has already been covered at a previous time.
* Any responses to topics will be of a kind and friendly nature.
* Posts shall be kept clean and pg13.
* Posts may not contain swearing or obscenity. This also includes abbreviated swearing. What is considered swearing or obscenity is subject to the decision of the site staff.
* Absolutely no giving out avatar answers in the shout-box or forums.
* No talking about sex. This includes any innuendo in any form to do with this topic.
* Kuepets does not allow the discussion of other pet sites in any kind, shape, or form. Or any links to other pet sites.
* When role-playing, users must not role play any romance, violence and may not mention nor act out a violent death.
* Users are to respect the site staff and each other. This means no insults, threats or harassment, in any form.
* Please do not discuss anything of a violent nature
* Asking for or giving out your password is strictly prohibited.
* In order to protect the privacy of the users, no personal information that could identify you in the real world may be posted on the forums. This includes, but is not limited to, surnames, phone numbers and/or addresses. Also the posting of your email or your instant messenger contact data in public areas of the site is forbidden.
* You may have contests on the forums, provided they are on the Random or Advertising and Giveaway Boards, depending on if there is a 'Winning Giveaway' or not.
* You may post a link to, or mention any sites outside kuepets.org providing they are not:
1. Other Pet sites.
2. Sites with chat features.
3. Sites Rated above PG 13.
4. Sites with paid advertisements.
5. Any sites that promote unlawful activity or give information how to perform unlawful actions.
6. Any site that promotes hacking, cheating and/or scamming of any kind.
7. Sites deemed inappropriate by the site staff.

* Avatars, Trophies, or Collections Answers etc.: Posting of the answers to Avatars Shop Advertising, Price Checks /Auctions/Trades/Games/Collections /Trophies/Special Event Items or Giveaways, in the shout box or forums is not allowed. You can however give hints in the forum like: 'Its red and you can probably find it in the toy shop' or 'It’s a certain staff member'. Kuepets is designed for people to have fun figuring out how to get avatars and trophies. You may also ask for hints from other members via mail.
*Abusing bugs and/or glitches on the site is forbidden. All bugs/glitches must be reported to a staff member immediately. If you are found to have been abusing one of the fore mentioned articles, your account can and will be penalised. The severity of the penalisation is to be at our discretion.
*You may not buy or sell referrals! Anyone caught doing this, will have his/her account frozen indefinitely.
*No form of hacking or scamming is allowed in any way, shape or form. Anyone found to be doing so will have their account deleted immediately. This includes and is not limited to: Auto Buyers, Auto Refreshers, Pet training programs and any other form of program used to 'Better' your Kuepets account.
*The user may not create or distribute any programs, bookmarks, script or similar that will in turn give a user an unfair advantage over others. This includes, but is not limited to, Restocking Scripts, Auto Refreshers, Auto Buyers etc.
*The user must not use any form of trading system other than the one provided by the site, or organise trades outside of our site..
*ANY form of CHEATING is NOT PERMITTED. Members who cheat will receive a ONE WEEK SUSPENSION. Additional infraction WILL result in a permanent ban from Kuepets. In some cases items or points may be removed from the account.

Final Note
These afore mentioned rules apply to ALL members, are NOT subject to debate and/or discussion and are not optional in any way, shape or form.
