Kuepets Shout Box Rules
The rules are subject to change without notice.
The Kuepets Shout Box is for members to chat, meet each other, get quick help for quest and mission items. It is a great place to ask and get help quickly for new players but please remember there is a Help and Assistance forum which can benefit everyone who reads the topic. If you are new to Kuepets please make your introduction in the Introduction Forum so everybody will know you are here and our box will not have all our help requests dropped out of sight. If an interesting topic comes up and lots of people like to chat about it you will be asked to move it into the Random Chat Forum.

Topics breaking the rules will be deleted and if necessary warnings will be given.

1.No Spam Posts: SPAM on Kuepets is considered to be any 2 word post or less. Each Shout box post that you write must have a minimum of 3 words. For example, users cannot write Okay or Thanks. Instead, users should write Thank you, user. This way, the quality of posts is kept as high as possible in the shout box and on Kue. SPAM on Kuepets is also considered to be exactly what SPAM is, Stupid, Pointless, and Annoying Messages. Please make all posts have meaning to them. Smileys can also be seen as SPAM. Please do not post these excessively, and do not write posts that are just smileys. These will be deleted. A maximum of 3 smileys per Shout box post is given. Members who break this rule will receive 4 email warnings, then two official warnings. Following the second official warning the member will result in being under aged for ONE WEEK which means you will not have access to the shout box, forums or mail but still be able to play on the site. Further infractions of this rule may result in suspension or permanent ban from the site.

2.No Excessive Posting: Just because Kuepets has a Shout box that does not mean that someone will be in it all the time. Please refrain from excessively posting in the Shout box, as it can not only clutter up the posting space, but it can also take extra bandwidth from the site. Kuepets classifies Excessively Posting as THREE or more posts. A user can make TWO posts in the shout box CONSECUTIVELY. Any made after this, whereby nobody else replies, the posts will be deleted. Members who break this rule will receive 4 email warnings, then two official warnings. Following the second official warning the member will result in being under aged for ONE WEEK which means you will not have access to the shout box, forums or mail but still be able to play on the site. Further infractions of this rule may result in suspension or permanent ban from the site.

3.No Links or Excessive Punctuation: We understand that every user will receive the urge to post a URL or link to somewhere in or out of Kue. Please refrain from doing this. Not only does this stretch the Shout box for everyone, but it can also lead to misleading websites, competitors, or illegal websites. Please, also refrain from excessive punctuation. Excessive is considered to be more than THREE punctuations other than fullstops or commas. This is not needed anywhere, and it causes great hassle to any member or staff to read the shout box. Members who break this rule will receive 4 email warnings, then two official warnings. Following the second official warning the member will result in being under aged for ONE WEEK which means you will not have access to the shout box, forums or mail but still be able to play on the site. Further infractions of this rule may result in suspension or permanent ban from the site.

4.No Discussion of Competitors: Kuepets and its staff understand that there are competitors pet sites out there on the World Wide Web; however, please refrain from discussing these in the Shout box. Any discussion of competitors will result in receiving 4 email warnings, then two official warnings. Following the second official warning the member will result in being under aged for ONE WEEK which means you will not have access to the shout box, forums or mail but still be able to play on the site. Further infractions of this rule may result in suspension or permanent ban from the site.

5.No Inappropriate, Vulgar or Illegal Websites: Please respect our community here at Kuepets. Kuepets is considered a game made for all ages. This includes children. No Inappropriate, Vulgar or Illegal Websites will be tolerated. If discussion, linking or even hinting information about them is found in the shout box, the user will be suspended for a total of ONE WEEK. If it happens a second time, the user may be banned permanently.

6.Chatspeak Use: We understand that Chat speak is extremely popular, especially in the World Wide Web of chatting and in shout boxes; however, we kindly ask that you refrain from using chat speak excessively. An example of this could be “hi, hw r u 2dy?” Any user using excessive chat speak will receive 4 email warnings, then two official warnings. Following the second official warning the member will result in being under aged for ONE WEEK which means you will not have access to the shout box, forums or mail but still be able to play on the site. Further infractions of this rule may result in suspension or permanent ban from the site.

7.Avatars, Shops, Price Checks, Auctions: Shop Advertising, Price Checks /Auctions/Trades/Games/Collections /Trophies/ Special Event items or Giveaways are also not permitted in the Shout box. Not only is this not needed, but it can also clutter the shout box. There is an Avatar Help forum exactly for this purpose as well as Kuepets Help Sites which are also available. Everything avatar related is not permitted in the Shout box ONLY in the forum. Members who break this rule will receive 4 email warnings, then two official warnings. Following the second official warning the member will result in being under aged for ONE WEEK which means you will not have access to the shout box, forums or mail but still be able to play on the site. Further infractions of this rule may result in suspension or permanent ban from the site.

8.Personal Information: Kuepets does not allow the discussion of ANY personal information whatsoever. This includes but not limited to suburb/town, post/zip code, schools, addresses, phone numbers, work details, etc. Facebook and Myspace are also not permitted to be discussed in the shout box, as these can lead to personal information. This is a NO TOLERANCE POLICY for discussing somebody else’s details. If you are caught telling someone about another persons information, you will be SUSPENDED for ONE WEEK. A second offense may result in being permanently banned from Kuepets. If you are discussing this information of yourself, the first offense will be an official warning, while the second will be ONE WEEK suspension. Further infractions may result in being permanently banned from Kuepets.

9.Harassment: Kuepets understands that from time to time, some users might not agree with the rules set down by the owners of Kuepets; however, please do refrain from harassing staff members because of this. Also, if you believe that you are being mis-treated or you have a problem with a rule, please send a mail message to an Administrator or other staff member when you wish to. All Kuepets staff are happy to help out and answer any questions. Kuepets will also not tolerate the harassment of users to users. Cyber-bullying is known to be a major problem on the internet today, and Kuepets will not tolerate this. If you wish to discuss a matter with another user, please do it over the mail system. WHINING and COMPLAINING also come under this rule. This will not be tolerated, as it is annoying and not necessary. Members who break this rule will receive 4 email warnings, then two official warnings. Following the second official warning the member will result in being under aged for ONE WEEK which means you will not have access to the shout box, forums or mail but still be able to play on the site. Further infractions of this rule may result in suspension or permanent ban from the site. Blatant arguing with any staff member will result in an immediate ONE WEEK SUSPENSION.

10.Text Codes and Premium Users: Text Codes, such as the bold, italics and underline commands, are permitted throughout many parts of the site on Kuepets; however, please refrain from using these Text Codes in the Shout box. Also, Premium Users must make certain that they use the (endcolor) tag when changing the colors in their name. If this is not done, users will risk losing their Premium completely. First offense will result in a warning, second offense will result in a one week suspension and third offense, will result in a permanent ban.

11.No Profanity: Profanity is not allowed in the Shout box or anywhere else on the site No swear words, no cuss words, no illegal words, no inappropriate words. You may not hint at profanity either. LMBO/LMAO is considered to be swearing in some countries. We therefore, ONLY permit the use of LOL on the site. Members who break this rule will receive 4 email warnings, then two official warnings. Following the second official warning the member will result in being under aged for ONE WEEK which means you will not have access to the shout box, forums or mail but still be able to play on the site. Further infractions of this rule may result in suspension or permanent ban from the site. Depending on the severity of the profanity used the member may receive ONE OFFICIAL WARNING then a ONE WEEK SUSPENSION.
